Dear Activist(s)

Nice to know about Amnesty International section in Philippines. I am former AI group co-ordintator in Kampala - Uganda. My group have been working for with the young people in the primary schools and education community members and organising social events for local councils and older people within the division council.

Now i have ACTION FOR HUMAN RIGHTS DEVELOPMENT in Zombo District of West Nile, Northern
Uganda, with the aim of educating community about there rights. There are problems of domestic violence, early marriage and child abuse.

Thanks and let us work for the good of our community.

Amnesty International Philippines is inviting young people from Luzon and NCR to participate in the Luzon-NCR Youth Conference on Human Rights on 04 - 08 December 2010. The conference is geared at developing young people towards active participation in human rights advocacy. This will be a gathering of 50 participants aged 15-25 years old representing different regions in Luzon and NCR, organizations, schools, religion and indigenous groups among others. • be responsible for maintaining the database of members and supporters
• liaise with external IT support provider on maintenance and repairs of IT equipment
• assist in membership support
• assist in the procurement of goods and services
• act as receptionist and ensures office maintenance

Applicant should:
• have knowledge and experience in database
• be articulate and able to communicate accurately (verbal and written)
• be well disciplined and able to work in a team
• be responsible and trustworthy

Contract will be until December 2010 with possibility of extension.
